Sofía Guerrero Martínez
I am a Mexican artist and designer. My work draws inspiration from a diverse range of sources, with a strong foundation in industrial design, for which I hold a degree from ITESM. My journey with watercolor began in 2016 when I was briefly introduced to the medium, and I have since continued to explore and develop my skills independently. As an industrial designer, my natural inclination is towards objects. I endeavor to capture their essence through the medium of watercolor. The transparency of watercolors allows me to convey the intricate interplay of these objects in a way that feels both instinctive and almost self-evident, especially when working with translucent objects.
